“Studying without borders” is a joint project of the University of Konstanz, the HTWG Konstanz – University of Applied Sciences, and the Thurgau University of Teacher Education (PHTG), supported by the city of Konstanz and the city of Kreuzlingen.
It is aimed at prospective and current students in Konstanz or Kreuzlingen. The portal contains a lot of information, from the first steps as a student to insider tips on living and learning in the area.
The texts were compiled in collaboration with students from the local universities in order to get the best tips for other students, especially for shopping, going out and leisure activities.
Everything started in 2011 with the interdisciplinary student project “City-Guide”, for which students in the Communications Design study programme at the HTWG designed the layout concept and illustrations. The printed version of the City Guide was followed by the online portal “Studying without borders” a few years later.
